Get healthier and feel better

It is widely accepted that too much stress has negative effects on our health.
Both our bodies and our minds suffer if the pressure on us becomes too high.

Transcendental Meditation (TM) a highly effective technique to get deep rest and reduce stress. Research shows this leads to benefits in many different areas of health. And because TM is non-religious, easy to learn, pleasant to practice, widely researched and extremely effective, doctors around the world are starting to recommend TM to their patients.

“No other ‘stress management technique’ has anywhere close to TM’s amount of hard data in support of its claims to reduce stress.”
Dr. Norman Rosenthal, Psychiatrist, U.S. National Institutes of Mental Health
“As a doctor, Transcendental Meditation is the only thing that is prescribable for stress reduction.”
Dr. Suzanne Steinbaum, Director Women’s Heart Health, Lenox Hill Hospital, New York City
“These are spectacularly large impacts!”
Dr. Oz, Cardiothoracic surgeon & Columbia University professor, commenting on 47% reduction in mortality, heart attack and stroke through TM in hypertension patients

Transcending = holistic side-benefits

TM also creates exceptionally deep rest, which has a lot of of side-benefits. More than 350 scientific studies from top universities like Harvard have been published in the past 50 years documenting these TM benefits. TM has been shown to relieve many stress-related health issues, improve mental potential and improve our relationships. Many national health organisations are now also formally recommending TM as an option for doctors to prescribe, for example the American Heart Association in the context of treating high blood pressure. And in Switzerland, the complementary insurances Optima and Completa Praeventa of Swica are reimbursing a good part of the TM fee

Schools in more than 60 countries have started to implement TM in their curriculum to help students to be “ready to learn”, eg under the name “Quiet Time Program”. And even the European Union recently provided a €0.5 Million grant for tests with TM in the European school system.

“Quite simply, Quiet Time [TM in school program] should be in every school.”
Dr. Carlos Garcia, Superintendent, San Francisco Unified School District, 2007-2012

Transcending = Easy to do

Many people have tried some form of meditation and have found it difficult to do. The good news is that TM is very different. It is a very simple, natural and effortless technique, that doesn’t require any concentration or controlling of the mind. TM is taught individually by highly trained teachers and this personal coaching also makes it very easy to learn.

“When I learned about TM, I thought ‘I’ll try this, even though I’m not good at meditating.’ And there is something about TM, it is the only time I have that stillness. I never had that feeling before.”
Ellen Degeneres, talk-show host
“I would try meditations, because I knew that there was something there for me, but every time I would try to do it, I was like: I can not meditate. When I learned TM, it was exactly what I needed! TM is the easiest thing I’ve ever done, not just the easiest meditation, but the easiest thing.”
Cameron Diaz, actress
